Annie MacLeod
Annie is known for her vocal power and lyrical storytelling.
Annie grew up as an only child of a single mother in tiny rental houses in the heart of Silicon Valley. Her father is an absent alcoholic meth addict. Because her first love story was incomplete, she has spent her life in search of connection with people, movements and magic and has found it in droves.
In addition to making music, Annie is a watercolor painter, feminist, Goddess dress maker, avid journaler, nurse practitioner, obsessive devourer of authors who are telling the very biggest truths (Martha Beck, Glennon Doyle, etc.), keeper of bees, chickens and children, embroiderer and blues dancer. She lives with her kids and violin-player surgeon husband in the gorgeous Rogue Valley of Oregon. She spends some of every summer in at least one National Park.
