Sgt Splendor

Sgt. Splendor is a duo composed of Kate Vargas and Eric McFadden, who are both accomplished solo artists in their own right. Kate Vargas has received critical acclaim from outlets like NPR, HuffPost and Vice, and is praised by Robert Christgau as "Dean of American Rock Critics." Eric McFadden, on the other hand, has an impressive resume that includes playing guitar with notable bands such as George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars, Fishbone’s Angelo Moore, and Eric Burdon & The Animals. He also has several solo albums and session work with artists like Jackson Browne and Joe Strummer. Together, Sgt. Splendor creates an intoxicating chemistry in their music, blending their talents and their love and connection as creative partners. They met at a songwriting retreat hosted by Pat McDonald and have been together for three and a half years.
