Son Ravello

Michael Caruso is a talented singer, songwriter, and composer based in Ashland, Oregon. He began his career as an actor and singer, attending the Walnut Hill School of the Performing Arts as a theatre major. However, he eventually turned his focus to songwriting, creating original music for his theatre productions. Michael has since performed with and written songs for various bands, including One Horse Shy, Kites + Crows, and The Meriwethers. In addition to his work in the music industry, Michael is also a performer in theatrical productions at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He has also founded Magnetic West Music, a boutique music agency that provides custom composition, licensing, and music supervision services. Michael studied music supervision with The Berklee College of Music and is committed to the convergence of music and media. Michael currently performs and records under the name Son Ravello, and he is passionate about how music can support the emotions of a story. He continues to compose music and write songs for advertising, TV, film, and other media.
