Stephen Marley is a Grammy-award winning musician, producer and songwriter. Born in 1972 in Wilmington, Delaware, he is the son of legendary reggae artist Bob Marley. Growing up in a household surrounded by music, Stephen began his own music career as a teenager, performing as a member of the family band The Melody Makers. He released his debut solo album, "Mind Control," in 2007, which earned him a Grammy for Best Reggae Album. Throughout his career, Stephen has continued to make impactful music, blending elements of reggae, hip-hop, and R&B to create a unique sound. He has released several albums, with his most recent release "Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life" in 2015. In addition to his successful solo career, Stephen has also produced and collaborated with a wide range of artists, including his brother Ziggy Marley, and rapper Nas. He is known for his socially conscious lyrics, and is an advocate for various causes including education and environmental conservation. With his deep roots in reggae music and a career spanning decades, Stephen Marley continues to be a respected and influential figure in the music industry.
