SOU Theater Building Presents Anpf: Side Effects May Include...

Side Effects May Include... is a thought-provoking new play by award-winning playwright Lisa Loomer and directed by Vanessa Stalling. The play explores the high cost of chasing the American Dream and the pills we need to get there. Featuring an all-star cast including Amy Pietz, David Kelly, Erica Sullivan, Ellen D. Williams, and Ethan Grabowski reading stage directions, the play will be workshopped and followed by talkbacks with Loomer, Stalling, and the cast. ANPF Artistic Director Jackie Apodaca calls the play "harrowing and heartbreaking" and an important exploration of pharma, consent, and motherhood. Loomer's previous works include Roe, Living Out, and screenwriting credits for Girl, Interrupted and several pilots for HBO, CBS, Fox, and Showtime. The play will be performed on March 25 and 26 at the SOU Main Stage Theatre and tickets can be purchased online at ashlandnewplays.org.
