White Rabbit Presents Friday Talks: Building a Serendipity Machine

Serendipity, as formally defined, is the skill of "discovering what you didn't know you were looking for." As a skill, it's something that can be actively developed and designed around. It's the secret ingredient for breakthrough thinking and innovative people and teams. You can trace humanity's greatest leaps to these sudden, unexpected connections: from a failed heart medication that became Viagra, to a "useless" weak adhesive that became the Post-it Note, and a curious bacterial defense system that launched the CRISPR gene-editing revolution. Thor Muller, a serial technology entrepreneur and author of NYTimes Bestelling book, Get Lucky: How to Put Planned Serendipity to Work for You and Your Business, will explore how we can build Serendipity Machines that make it far more likely we can each harness the power of discovering what we didn't know we needed. Thor will also explain how the White Rabbit Clubhouse itself is a serendipity machine being born.
