White Rabbit Presents Imaginal Playground

Performance & Movement Workshop
Join the White Rabbit theater club, a weekly play-based gathering to develop our skills and crafts in performance. Drop in and discover new ways of realizing the imaginal through our bodies. Co-hosted by local dancer, choreographer, and director Aurora Quinn & SOU BFA in Theatre & Performance Mila McAllister. Activities include: theater games, improv, authentic movement, dance & vocalizing, devised scene work, and occasional classes with guest teachers.
This space is geared towards adults who want to connect more with their inner children, but everyone is welcome regardless of age or experience.
Aurora Quinn is a queer performer, experience architect, and mixed-media artist pushing the boundaries of performance art and creative collaboration in Southern Oregon. Aurora dreams of reawakening our inner children and imagination through immersive theatre and play.
In 2023, Aurora joined Tandem Contemporary Dance Company and has been dancing in critically acclaimed shows on some of Ashland's revered stages since. In the same year, she founded the performance art collective Songbird & Starling which is devoted to healing our relationships to our bodies, community, and local ecologies through experimental theatre. From Butoh-inspired dance meditations in the park to deeply interactive fantasy plays, Songbird & Starling weaves animistic ritual with current cultural trends and cutting-edge technology, opening up transformative experiences for community.
Currently, Aurora manages events at White Rabbit Clubhouse, offering workshops and performances for the creative community.
