Alice Di Micele is an Americana/Folk Singer-Songwriter based in Southern Oregon. Her voice is rangy, sometimes soft and intimate, other times bold and brassy, evoking a distinct mood in every song she sings. Alice built a dedicated fan base as an independent musician with stirring live performances spanning a three-decade career. Her new album, Every Seed We Plant, is her sixteenth release, a snapshot of life in these times – gut-wrenching, hopeful, vulnerable, intense. Alice collaborated with producer Bret Levick, who co-produced, arranged, and co-wrote the first track on her new release, leading Alice’s music into new territory. Pop, jazz, and rock and roll undercurrents flow beneath folk bedrock on this record. Her long-time bassists, Rob Kohler and Damian Erskine, joined talented players Bret Levick, Skip Edwards, David Jacobs-Strain, Andy Thorn, Barry Phillips, Dean Angermeier, Bob Evoniuk, Mikey Stevens, Matthew Kriemelman, and Christo Pellani on this album. Alice recorded her vocals and guitar tracks at her Tiny Wonderland studio in Southern Oregon.
Sasha Rose's popularity with the spiritually focused dance crowd comes from her unique hybridization of original production featuring her celestial vocals with carefully selected inspirational dance tracks from various artists. Her performances flow from world beat grooves to tribal rhythms to down tempo dance dub to ecstatic inspirational ascensions to higher realms. Sasha is also a central member of the music collective Liberation Movement, a collaborative project featuring Resurrector of Heavyweight Dub Champion and Shipibo Shamans from the Peruvian Amazon.
Shimshai has been sharing his unique brand of heartfelt folk and reggae music with the world for more than 20 years and his songs have become anthems and anchors for many on the spiritual path. His lyrics span multiple languages attracting international crowds. Fans in Israel, Colombia, BC, Australia, Europe and especially the Western US flock to Shimshai’s performances for a roots music experience. Originally from Seattle Washington, Shimshai currently resides between Northern California & Oregon with his wife and family where he continues to perform, record and host retreat events throughout the year.
A rare gem in a world of over-produced sound-bytes.
Born and raised in Washington with the Grand Cascade mountains as his back yard, Freedom began as a drummer in Seattle and soon wrote songs of his own.
We could give you a typical bio, name drops, venues, etc. Let's skip that part.
