Oregon Shakespeare Festival Presents Rent

OSF's production of Rent directed by Tiffany Nichole Greene is set to be a powerful and emotional journey. The musical, written by Jonathan Larson, tells the story of a group of young artists struggling to make ends meet in New York City's gritty East Village while the shadow of HIV/AIDS looms over them. With its iconic songs such as "Seasons of Love," "La Vie Boheme," and "Take Me or Leave Me," Rent has become a cultural touchstone, resonating with audiences for over two decades. This production promises to be a fresh and modern take on the classic story, tackling themes of poverty, love, and acceptance in a way that is still relevant today. With a talented cast and a director who is passionate about the material, this production of Rent is set to be a moving and memorable experience for audiences.
