The Rogue Valley Chorale: Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem
The Craterian Theater will host the Chorale's performance of Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem ("A German Requiem") on March 25th and 26th. The Chorale will be joined by an orchestra with professional Rogue Valley soloists José Rubio, baritone, and Christi McLain, soprano. This powerful and moving work, often referred to as the "requiem for the living," will be a memorable and emotional experience for both performers and audiences. Don't miss this seminal work in choral music history!
For over four decades the Rogue Valley Chorale has been at the heart of the arts scene in Southern Oregon. The 100 members who make up the Chorale are men and women with diverse musical backgrounds including professional singers, actors, music educators and gifted vocalists who simply love to sing.
The Craterian Theater at the Collier Center for Performing Arts
The Craterian Theater at The Collier Center is a state-of-the-art performance venue and gathering place for the community of Southern Oregon. The facility features excellent acoustics and sightlines, an impressive array of theatrical equipment, and is operated by a professional staff. The auditorium is intimate and comfortable and can seat up to 750 patrons, and the stage can accommodate large music, dance and theatrical tours, as well as local productions.
The Craterian Theater is a vibrant facility utilized by all parts of the community for performances, rehearsals, classes and workshops, conferences, receptions, parties, seminars, trainings, etc.
