Holly Theater

The Holly Theatre was designed by noted architect Frank Clark in a Spanish Colonial Revival style and built in 1930 as Medford's most elegant movie palace. Jefferson Live! is working to restore it as a live performance venue.
---- Currently scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2023 (fundraising allowing), this 1930 movie palace is the only remaining historic theater of the five movie palaces that once stood in downtown Medford. It's our last chance to save an amazing treasure of our past. One of the most ornate buildings in Medford when it opened, it is being restored to its original 1930 design and splendor.
The Holly Theatre restoration is a project of Jefferson Live -- the division of the JPR Foundation responsible for the restoration and operation of Redding's Cascade Theatre. The design and management teams have considerable experience in the restoration of historic properties and financially successful theater operations.
